The blending of classic couture techniques with a touch of tailoring, led to an elevated slip top and trousers. The look focuses on forming to the body rather than constricting or contorting the shape of it.
With Love, Halston Design Competition
The challenge prompts designers to use Halston’s design genius as a muse for their own creations. Pieces were often draped on bias and sewn as is. The jumpsuit blends Halston’s class and airiness with the sophisticated and tailoring-focused design aesthetic of MEIHEM.

De/Reconstruction focuses on sustainable practices and the issue of overproduction in the fashion industry. With two-person teams, thrifted clothing from Goodwill gets reinvented into new contemporary pieces.
Men's Roaring 20's
Inspired by Philadelphia's Benjamin Franklin Bridge and the decade that it opened to the public, the 1920's, the office wear set is a twist on the menswear of that time. The unsuspecting front allows attention to drift toward the open back.
The Classic Trench
This trench coat is made with traditional tailoring techniques. The coat features a tan wool shell, gold polyester lining and classic brown buttons. Additional straps and a belt allow for wearer customization and comfort. Structural components include hair canvas along the front and collar, and shoulder pads.
Hooded Mini Dress
This hooded mini dress was created with CLO 3D, the computer aided design program. CLO 3D allows customization, fit assistance, and material exploration. Through digital patternmaking and simulations, this garment required no mockups or samples.
